Curriculum Development Internship for Doctoral Students

 

The Chicago Center on Democracy has internship position available to a current University of Chicago doctoral student in the Humanities Division, Division of the Social Sciences, or the Divinity School.

The focus of this internship is on designing and teaching a course on democratic erosion to K-12 teachers in the Chicago area. The graduate student intern will adapt an existing course curriculum, with support from the Chicago Center on Democracy. This project will provide the graduate student with experience in community outreach, course design, and teaching.

The PATHS program of UChicagoGRAD will fund the internship and offer other benefits to the selected intern, such as connections with other interns, employer site visits, and career guidance.
